Blanc

Weird White

White

The students find French books weird, so in order not to annoy anyone I give a lecture diplomatically entitled Weird French Authors. So far so good, we set off on a hike in the weirdness. A weird world in which for a start book covers are white; so, we begin in the white. So far so good, rendez-vous with packed lunches at the starting point Weird White. And we set off. From there, climbing and collecting plants, sizing up the street furniture, feeling out the different types of atmosphere, we finally notice something obvious: there is weirdness and weirdness; weirdness has nothing to do with weirdness. It’s crazy, but the landscape on either side of the road is completely different! Still so far so good?
